I finally received the 6 port SCART switch from otaku-games.com and did a short review, check it out here.
Things they are a changin’
The website will be going through a lot of changes, I am trying to figure out the best look and integrate Shopify to make it so you can actually check out! If you see some things missing or incomplete just know it will be fixed soon. You can get in touch with me via the contact page if you’d like to order anything that isn’t set up yet. Thanks!
SCART to BNC
Added the ability to order SCART to BNC cables. I have a few on hand, I will post again if I run out and there will be any lead time on more. These are very very similar to the cables sold by wookiewin on ebay, but there is no sync stripper option available yet. Coming soon!
Cap Replacements
Check out this page to order a capacitor replacement service for your console. Prices start at just $25 and are based on cap count.
New Services
I’ll be sending out the first cables for the SSDS3 this week, I’ll also be posting some pictures of the cables soon so you can see how I chose to make them.
I’m also working on expanding the pages showing my work and what kind of things you can order from me. Soon I’ll be offering mod kits that amazing developers like Voultar, Borti, and Citrus3000psi have open sourced for the SNES, N64, and more.
I will also do capacitor replacements using any of the kits available from Console5.com, so don’t hesitate to ask!
Site Updates
I’ve added a few pages detailing how to rewire a SCART cable to JP21, and correcting a backwards capacitor on the Super SD System 3 from Terraonion. Take a look!
What is SCART? Baby Don’t Hurt Me
I’m working on filling out the site with some info pages, as well as fixing up the menu. Most of the links go to blank pages right now, but I have just added some quick info on the SCART and JP21 standards over here, so check it out!
Start of something new?
I’ve started offering mod and softmod work, mostly for fun and for my own learning, but hopefully to earn a little cash on the side too. Over the coming weeks I’ll update this space with pictures, videos, and maybe some walkthroughs of how things go. Knowing how i usually am with projects, this first post may also be my last! Let’s hope not. Allons-y!
