Component cables for citrus3000psi’s GCDual mod are now available over here. These work really well, especially with the jumper set so the cube will automatically switch to component when you plug these in! I have one set on hand and can make more on request.
Cable Too Thicc
I am currently redesigning the cable for the SSDS3, as the 9 pin din connector was too large. I’s going to try to use some “Old Skool” cables for this purpose.
As anyone who has looked into making their own cables has quickly found out, sourcing individually shielded RGB cables (aka mini coax) is difficult, especially in the US and at a reasonably diameter (just ask retro-access who had to get custom cable from Italy). There are 500′ spools on eBay for $400… might be a while before I can afford that.
So in the future I will probably just be using shielded cable, which should be acceptable for short cables and c-sync (doesn’t apply to SCART to BNC cables). I don’t want to make a ton of cables (retro-access and retrogamingcables have got that covered), so I probably won’t have to worry much.
NES Mods and Other “Coming Soon”
I am working through the pages on the site so that they are up to date. Pages that say “Coming Soon” are not yet available, everything else should have some information pretty soon.
NES mods (RGB and HDMI) will probably be “Coming Soon” for quite a while, as I don’t have a desoldering gun/station. If I make enough money to buy one then I will begin offering them, but it probably won’t be anytime soon. Take a look at all of the other available mods and hopefully you’ll find something you like.
Shopify Troubles, Custom Cables
My initial plan was to use this WordPress site ($4 a month) and Shopify’s “buttons” feature ($9 a month) for a cheap way to setup a store, but Shopify’s buttons don’t work with WordPress for some reason. Until I can get this sorted out, just use the contact forms on each page to place an order, and I will send you a Paypal invoice to the email address you provide.
For mod/repair services, I will send you the invoice once I have finished the job and it has tested working.

SCART to BNC
Added the ability to order SCART to BNC cables. I have a few on hand, I will post again if I run out and there will be any lead time on more. These are very very similar to the cables sold by wookiewin on ebay, but there is no sync stripper option available yet. Coming soon!

I’ll be sending out the first cables for the SSDS3 this week, I’ll also be posting some pictures of the cables soon so you can see how I chose to make them.
